Keep the Faith!

There are just 17 days until the election. Early voting, which began Thursday in North Carolina, was extremely heavy. Last year, 740 people voted in Mecklenburg County on the first day. This year? Over 7500. That's a very encouraging sign. But we can't stop working now. Each time the Republican slime machine spews more hatred and division, we must respond by hitting the streets, knocking on doors, making more phone calls and talking with friends and neighbors.

I spent this afternoon calling voters. Of those I reached, ALL enthusiastically said they are voting for Barack Obama. One young voter has moved to NYC so I spoke with his father. Is he voting for Obama? Yes he is.
